Belvedere Vodka Prices Guide (UPDATED 2023)

Background of Belvedere Vodka

Old Facility versus New Brand

Belvedere Vodka is relatively new compared to the facility it is distilled in. The building that houses the distillery is in a town called Polmos Zyrardów, Poland. Built in 1910, under communist rule, the facility produced a variety of products. At that time, it was called “Distillery and Rectification of Spirit and Vodka”. Belvedere Vodka began being produced in 1993 and is currently the only vodka in production at the facility.

History of Belvedere

Belvedere's history starts with an old family recipe and distillation process that predates the distillery itself by about 600 years. The beautiful bottles and vodka itself were launched in 1993 however, the distillery was actually established in 1910.

Unique Processes

The alternative flavors of the Belvedere Vodka brand are produced through a process called maceration. The process takes place far away in a facility in France, where the pure spirit is combined with dried and frozen fruit. The concentrate is then shipped back to the distilling facility in Poland, processed to a drinkable strength and filtered one last time before bottling. As you can see, Belvedere Vodka takes its varieties quite seriously. Though Belvedere does produce varieties, it honors the original Polish rye recipe to this day.

Even the Bottle is Honored

We commonly recognize the Belvedere Vodka bottle by its frosted glass and iconic tree highlighting the back of the bottle. A separate vendor, Saverglass and St. Gobelein produces the bottles, which go through a multi-step process to add the tree graphics, text, etc.

Belvedere Vodka takes its production seriously, utilizing checks and balances throughout the process. The company employs a thirty-three-step quality control process that ensures a great tasting vodka that is chemically pure. Belvedere Vodka prides itself on consistency in its recipe and test.

Belvedere Vodka Pricing

Quality Cannot Be Ignored

The processing of Belvedere Vodka is comparable to the highest-end vodkas available on the market. As seen in the Common Belvedere Vodka Prices List below, this vodka finds itself in the $30 price range. With a price point like that, Belvedere needs to come through with superior taste and quality. According to the clear majority of reviewers, Belvedere Vodka does just that. With smooth, drinkable taste, Belvedere Vodka proves itself worthy of this price point that can be considered slightly pricey by the common vodka customer.

A 375ml bottle will cost you roughly $20.00 while a 3 liter bottle of Belvedere Vodka can cost almost $200.

Comparable Alternatives to Belvedere Vodka

The $30 price point introduces us to what would be considered the more high-end vodkas. One exciting way to enjoy this price point is to be introduced to the craft vodka market. Craft vodka, especially in the United States, is a relatively new niche. However, this price point allows customers to enjoy a large variety of these craft vodkas. These vodkas are typically produced using locally sourced ingredients, in smaller batches, providing smooth, drinkable vodkas that are great on their own or in mixed drinks.

Other Major Players in This Market

When we go to a bar in a chain restaurant or one with a more specific brand selection, we are unlikely to find the smaller batch craft vodkas as suggested above. Belvedere Vodka finds itself on the top shelf in most of these establishments and can be found next to several other brands in the same price range. Grey Goose and Ketel One are both located on the top shelf of typical bars and are comparable in both taste and mixability.

Belvedere Vodka Recipes

Every vodka deserves a good partnership with the perfect cocktail. With a variety of ingredients and a little creativity, Belvedere Vodka can be taken from great to amazing. While it is fun to experiment with ingredients and elixirs, sometimes a little help goes a long way. Let’s look at several recipes that will feature Belvedere Vodka in a vessel it deserves.

The Bees Knees

  • Belvedere Vodka: 2 ounces
  • Lemon Juice (preferably fresh squeezed, if you aren’t lazy): ¾ ounce
  • Honey Syrup (blend 1-part honey and 1-part water): ¾ ounce

Mix all ingredients in a shaker, including ice. Strain and pour into a coupe glass (if you don’t have one, you can use a martini glass. If you don’t have a martini glass, stop making cocktails and go to the nearest bar instead).

The Sour

  • Belvedere Vodka: 1 ½ ounces
  • Lemon Juice (fresh squeezed, don’t be lazy): ¾ ounce
  • Simple Syrup: ½ ounce
  • Egg White: Just a dash

Put all ingredients in a shaker and shake without ice to blend egg white. Then, add ice and shake again. Strain mixture into a rocks glass over…rocks (aka ice). Use remaining fresh lemon again by making a lemon twist for garnish.

The Caipirinha

  • Belvedere Vodka (Unfiltered if you’re feeling fancy): 2 ounces
  • Simple Syrup: ¾ ounce
  • Quartered Lime: 4 pieces
  • Sea Salt: Just a smidge (a pinch for you bakers out there)

Put the lime and simple syrup in the bottom of the shaker. Go about muddling them together (a bartender’s favorite chore). Once muddled, add the Belvedere Vodka and the ice. Shake it all and pour everything into a large rocks glass (any tall glass will do). Best enjoyed through the portal of a straw.

The Toddy

  • Belvedere Vodka: 1 ounce
  • Hot Water: 1 ½ ounces
  • Fortified Wine (French if you’re doing it right): 1 ounce
  • Lemon Juice (fresh to impress): ½ ounce
  • Honey: ½ ounce
  • Cinnamon Stick: 1
  • Nutmeg (grated by yourself): Some
  • A wedge of orange
  • A wedge of orange

Put hot water in a mug (glass to keep it classy), then add the honey to melt it. Put the rest of the liquids in. The cinnamon stick, orange wedge and nutmeg are simply garnishing to make it look exquisite. If you really want to top it off, add the cloves to another orange wedge.
