Are you wondering what the best Absolut flavor is? Perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed at the liquor store because there are so many Absolute Vodka flavors available. Absolut Vodka is not a new premium vodka by any means. Since production began nearly 50 years ago in 1979, Absolute has been rebranding and releasing new flavors to ensure they hold their spot at the top of the extremely competitive market.

Absolut currently has 25 products available in the US (including their bottled cocktails and juices). Out of those, there are 16 vodkas being sold counting the original and Absolut Elyx. Internationally, Absolut has 39 products in their portfolio.

#14 Absolut Peppar

While this one might not be for everyone, it is our staff’s go to for Bloody Marys! It certainly packs a punch and will definitely spice up your brunch routine! We’re huge fans of the kick that comes from this bottle! Not to mention, this was their first flavored vodka and it was launched in 1986! Just because it’s not ranked as the best Absolut flavor, we still think you should give it a try!

Tasting notes: This vodka opens with a smack of black pepper. There is a touch of smoked paprika, green olive and bacon. The finish is spicy with a jalapeño kick. 

Cocktail Ideas: 

Bloody Mary

  • 2 oz Absolut Peppar
  • 6 oz bloody mary mix

Combine ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake and pour into pint glass. Garnish with olives, celery, bacon, jalapeño or whatever you fancy! 

Absolut Chocolate Chili Martini

  • 1.5 oz Absolut Peppar
  • 1.5 oz chocolate liqueur
  • Jalapeño

Muddle jalapeño in cocktail shaker. Add ingredients and ice. Shake and double strain into martini glass.

#13 Absolut Grapefruit

A sibling to the other citrus flavors, Absolut Grapefruit is a newcomer. A reimagined, upgraded version of the Ruby Red which was discontinued years ago, this bright citrusy vodka has just the right amount of sweet fruit and acid. 

Tasting notes: zesty grapefruit flavor with subtle hints of tangerine and a bright, balanced citrusy kick. 

Cocktail Ideas:

Absolut Grapefruit & Tonic

  • 2 oz Absolut Grapefruit
  • 5 oz Tonic Water

Combine ingredients in Collins glass over ice. Garnish with grapefruit slice or peel.

Grapefruit Lullaby

  • 1.5 oz Absolut Grapefruit
  • .75 oz elderflower liqueur
  • .5 oz ginger simple syrup
  • .5 oz grapefruit juice
  • .5 oz lemon

Combine ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake and pour into rocks glass. Garnish with grapefruit slice.

#12 Absolut Kurant 

The sweet blackcurrant berry ripens in July and this spirit is a tribute to Swedes enjoying summer after surviving their long, cold and dark winters. Scål! Unlike many flavored vodkas, t’s made exclusively from natural ingredients and doesn’t contain any added sugar.

Tasting notes: Super smooth packed with blackcurrant flavor. There are some oily notes with a slight vanilla and floral undertone.

High Heels

  • 1 oz Absolut Kurant
  • .75 oz creme de cassis
  • .75 oz lemon
  • .75 oz black currant syrup

French Flamingo

  • .75 oz Absolut Kurant
  • .75 oz lime juice 
  • .75 oz pomegranate juice
  • .75 oz triple sec

#11 Absolut Mandarin

Ah, the sweet little citrus treat. Absolut’s Mandrin vodka was their response to the orange flavored vodka trend. And in true Absolut fashion, this vodka is trendy but different enough to make it stand out from the competition. 

Tasting notes: Bright sweet Mandarin orange flavor bursts in your mouth with the first sip. There’s a lingering finish with a touch of orange zest and tangerine.

Cocktail Ideas: 

Mandrin Mule

  • 2 oz Absolut Mandrin
  • 6 oz ginger beer
  • .5 oz lime juice

Combine ingredients in copper mug with ice. Stir and garnish with lime wedge.

Mandrin Crush

  • 2 oz Absolut Mandrin
  • .75 oz lemon juice
  • .75 oz passion fruit syrup
  • .25 oz simple 

Combine ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake and pour over crushed ice.

#10 Berri Açaí

Imagine fresh blueberries from Europe and North America mingled with fruity Asian pomegranate and smooth açaí from South America. That’s what Absolut Berri Açaí is, and it’s delicious!

Tasting notes: Fresh berry with a slight floral note. There’s a touch of bitterness followed by a hint of grape flavor.

Cocktail Ideas: 

Berri Blues

  • 1.5 oz Absolut Berri Açaí
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • .75 oz simple syrup
  • 1 egg white

Combine ingredients in shaker. Shake hard without ice. Add ice and shake to chill. Double strain over ice and garnish with fresh blueberries. 

Berri Breeze

  • 1.5 oz Absolut Berri Açaí
  • 2.5 oz cranberry juice
  • 2.5 oz apple juice


Combine ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake and pour into glass. 

#9 Absolut Pears

Delicate and fresh, Absolut Pear is no doubt a go to for bartenders especially when making fall cocktails.

Tasting notes: Aromas of bright, crisp pear lead to juicy ripe pear on the palate. It tastes like fresh pear juice squeezed into Absolut Vodka.

Pear Fizz

  • .75 oz Absolut Pear
  • .75 oz elderflower liqueur
  • .25 oz pear puree
  • 4 oz sparkling wine

Combine ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake and pour into champagne flute. Top with sparkling wine.

Pear Martini

  • 2 oz Absolut Pear
  • .75 oz simple syrup
  • .75 oz lemon juice

#8 Absolut Apeach 

A relative of other stone fruits such as cherries and apricots, this cute, fuzzy sweet little fruit a is the perfect summer ingredient! Absolut Apeach was created in 2005 and has been gaining popularity ever since. Pool party anyone? 

Tasting notes: Very balanced with complex notes of fruity apricot and peach. The finish is rich and smooth with a hint of tropical fruit. 

Cocktail Ideas: 

Sweet Peach Iced Tea

  • 2 oz Absolut Apeach
  • 6 oz sweet tea

Combine ingredients in pint glass with ice. Garnish with fresh lemon or peach slices.

Apeach Melba

  • 1 oz Absolut Apeach
  • .5 oz chambord
  • .5 oz cream
  • .5 oz peach liqueur

Combine ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake and strain into martini glass. 

#7 Absolut Elyx

Though this is not technically “flavored” it is a different flavor than the original Absolut so we decided it needed to be included in our list. The Absolut website states that this true luxury vodka was built on the principals of quality, integrity and craftsmanship. It is distilled in a manually operated vintage copper still from 1921! It is literally award winning liquid silk that is perfect for martinis or on the rocks!

Tasting notes: Silky smooth with a rich and velvety mouth feel. Full bodied with hints of cereal and creme brûlée. Finish lingers with a slight nuttiness. 

Cocktail ideas: The Elyx Martini 2.25 oz AE .75 oz Lillet Blanc lemon zest. Elyx Spritz .75 AE, fever tree tonic, .75 elderflower liqueur, .75 lillet rose lemon

The Elyx Martini

  • 2.25 oz Absolut Elyx
  • .75 oz lillet blanc


Combine ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake and strain into martini glass. Garnish with lemon twist.

Elyx Spritz

  • .75 oz Absolut Elyx
  • .75 oz elderflower liqueur
  • .75 oz lillet rose
  • .75 oz lemon juice
  • Fever Tree Tonic

Combine all ingredients except tonic in shaker with ice. Shake and pour into glass. Top with tonic and garnish with lemon.

#6 Absolut Lime

Another from the popular citrus line, Absolut lime is crisp and refreshing and not overly-sweet. This makes it a favorite among bartenders and home aficionados. Use Absolut Lime for a new twist on any classic cocktail!

Tasting notes: Mouthwatering citrus with a recognizable flavor of freshly juiced lime. Smooth and crisp with a medium body. 

Cocktail Ideas: 

Absolut Lime Mojito

  • 2 oz Absolut Lime
  • .75 oz lime juice
  • .75 oz simple syrup
  • 7-10 mint leaves

Muddle 5-7 mint leaves in shaker. Add vodka, lime, simple and ice. shake and pour into Collins glass. Top with a splash of club soda. Use remaining mint leaves for garnish.

Lime Kamikaze

  • 1.5 oz Absolut Lime
  • .75 oz triple sec
  • .75 oz lime juice


Combine ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake and strain into martini glass. Garnish with lime wheel.

#5 Absolut Mango

This was the first tropical flavor to be released by Absolut. It was inspired by the King of Mangoes, Alphonso Mangoes.  Nothing screams summer like a mango cocktail at a backyard barbecue! Ranking in the top five best Absolut flavors, this is a must try if you haven’t already.

Tasting Notes: Full bodied and juicy with rich mango flavor. The finish is sweet and fruity with pineapple and passion fruit.

  • 1 oz Absolut Mango
  • .25 oz Absolut Peppar
  • .75 oz lemon juice
  • .75 oz mango puree
  • .25 oz simple syrup
  • half of a jalapeño

Muddle jalapeño in shaker. Add remaining ingredients and shake with ice. Double strain into martini glass.

#4 Absolut Vanilia

This spectacular creation will enhance just about anything from baked goods to coffee! This is definitely a sweet one, so there’s no surprise it ranked as one of the best Absolut flavors. Try adding it to an espresso martini or those cookies you’re about to make!

Tasting notes: Rich and decadent, full bodied with heavy sweet vanilla. The finish lingers with birthday cake and frosting.

Passion Fruit Martini

  • 1.5 oz Absolut Vanilia
  • .75 oz passion fruit purée
  • .5 oz vanilla syrup

  • 2 oz Absolut Watermelon
  • 1.5 oz watermelon juice
  • .75 oz lime juice
  • .75 oz simple syrup
  • .5 oz triple sec

Watermelon Spritzer

  • 2 oz Absolut Watermelon
  • 1 oz watermelon juice
  • 3 oz sparkling wine

Fun fact: raspberry is not actually a berry! Technically it’s a drupe, but regardless, it is delicious! Not surprisingly, it’s one of Absolute’s best tasting vodkas! Popular for its versatility, Raspberri is easy to mix and tastes amazing.

  • 1.5 oz Absolut Raspberri
  • .75 oz lime juice

  • club soda

  • 1 oz Absolut Raspberri

#1 Absolut Citron

Ah, the all time favorite of the citrus family and the best Absolut Flavor all around goes to Absolut Citron! Released in 1988, the lemon flavored vodka hit the market by storm and quickly became one of the most popular flavored vodkas in the world. Today it is their best selling vodka in the flavored category. 

We’re not sure if its fame is synonymous with the Cosmopolitan or if it came on its own, but rest assured there are still many bars across the country that still make their house cosmo with Absolut Citron.

Tasting notes: Smooth and mellow with a touch of lemon zest and fresh fruity lemon.  Bright citrusy finish that is crisp and refreshing. 

Cocktail Ideas: Citron Cosmopolitan: 1.5 oz citron, .75 triple sec, .75 lime, .75 cranberry Lemon drop shot: 1oz citron, .5 oz lemon .25 simple
